Ahmadiyya Resource Directory (In Press Now)

National Sanat-o-Tijarat department (Career Development) of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is publishing a Resource Directory, listing various services available to Jamaat members in USA and selected contacts in various business careers. The Ahmadiyya Resource Directory advertises not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields.
We have the target of distributing more than 2000 free copies of this directory at Jalsa Salana 2009.
With the Grace of Allah, this initiative will provide a much needed service to Jamaat USA as a whole.  However, we need your help in getting to a target of 500 businesses/professions. (Target met by the grace of Allah. You can continue to submit name/info for the online version if you like)

How can I help, you ask? Answer to this and more in FAQs.

Department Vision

  Ahmadiyya Resource Directory

hkm2-2.jpgHadhrat Khalifahtul Masih ra II [left] started the office of Sanat-o-Tijarat in 1940s. The vision was to establish a platform where Jamaat members can help each other in learning the professional skills of the time and flourish in businesses to improve their economical stature.

Hadhrat Khalifahtul Masih ra IV once stated:

“No nation can be free until it is economically free.”
[Friday Sermon on March 1, 1991]

Our biggest objective is increasing the size of the Ahmadiyya Resource Directory to include 500 business contacts (goal achieved by the grace of Allah) and then publish them (similar to Yellow Pages) in time for Jalsa Salana 2009.

Members can continue to submit their names for the online version of the directory, even though deadline for name submission for the print version has passed. The only requirement to fill out the registration form is that the Khuddam must be working (doesn't matter where).
If you have any questions on any of the following initiatives, please do not hesistate to contact us (refer to the chart below).

The Ahmadiyya Resource Directory are traditionally used to look up your local businesses. However, the Ahmadiyya Resource Directory has a broader goal. An initiative established by the Sanat-O-Tijarat Department (Career Development) of MKA USA, the Ahmadiyya Resource Directory will advertise not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields. For example, we have representatives from the travel industry, education field, military personnel, and law enforcement. We also recently added an “International Ahmadi Businesses” section which represents businesses from as far away as Indonesia and Dubafi.

One purpose of this initiative is to support one another economically; however we also hope to create an environment of networking. If one is interested in learning how to be an Associate Broker or what the etiquettes of testifying in court are, they can use the Ahmadiyya Resource Directory to find such brothers, who can give friendly and knowledgeable advice.
