MIST 2012 Site Information
This Year's MIST is due to be a spectacular event. The Basketball Tournament will be held at the Renegades Basketball (2950 Turnpike Dr., Hatboro, PA 19040) a premier sporting facility, that consists of three full basketball courts. We anticipate having 20 basketball teams participate from across America, Canada and Europe. We will implement a dual bracket system to allow each team a fair and competitive chance at winning
We have made many changes to enhance the soccer tournament this year, starting with the state of the art soccer facility at the SportsPlex (654 York Rd., Warminster, PA 18974), which offers three indoor soccer fileds. Due to the overwhelming demand and intense competition of soccer, we have increased the number of hours for soccer and made arrangments to hold preliminary rounds on Saturday and the playoffs on Sunday. Teams from Europe will bring their skill against the top teams from North America.

3. No USA TEAMS this year, all teams submitted must be either a regional or local team. No region will be allowed to add a player from a different region, no exceptions. Your Tagneed is based on where you are living now. We may have two brackets (local/regional) based on how many local teams we get but their will be no international bracket this year.
4. Non-Ahmadi Participant Policy: This year we will allow teams to bring one guest for competitive play. Guests will be allowed to participate in the national bracket only. Certain guidelines are in place for the guest. - They should be a tabligh contact with the focus being more on getting the guest further exposure to Ahmadiyyat rather than to win the tournament. - The guest should be aware of our values and be mindful of our rules and ettiquettes.
5. Travel Subsidy Policy: There is no travel subsidy provided this year. Please work with your local and regional Qaideen if you feel that cost will be a factor in you being able to attend. - International teams will be allowed to fly into PHL (Philadelphia International), EWR (Newark-Liberty International), or JFK (Kennedy International). Domestic USA teams must fly into PHL as it is the closest to facility and mosque.
