Assalamu Alakium Naib Sadr Sahib was very close to Allah Tallah. Being around him, you could tell that Muhaimin Bhai had a special place with Allah Tallah. I remember the first time I met him. I went to my first Ijtema as not a Tifl, but as a Khadim. We were participating in educational competitions. After Urdu Poem, the Judge immediately went to the next subject of competition. Naib Sadr Sahib was sitting all the way in the back in that grand Cheyney Hall in the middle next to someone and asked the Judges politely, "What about English Poem- can I compete in that competition" Was English Poem part of the competition? No one had a clue. The Judge jokingly said, "Muhaimin, your father speaks fluent Urdu, should you not also give an Urdu poem?" He smiled and the Judge allowed him to give an English poem and because of his determination to give those who are more fluent in English poetry than Urdu poetry, MKA USA has been continuing his legacy. In another recent incident I believe it was the Summer of 2006 at an Ijtema in a New York campsite. There were two Khuddam who came up to me stating their cell phones were stolen by a particular person. The person said he denied it and went back to sleep. The two Khuddam caused a heavy commotion on the early morning hours of Sunday. Afsar Ijtema and others were at the Sadaran elections. I was the only one available to respond to any emergencies. We spoke and I tried to calm them down. My friend also came over and the Khuddam began cursing at Jammat and saying really nasty things. My friend who interesting enough came to resolve the situation got upset by their comments and also began shouting in defense of Jammat. So, here I was standing in the middle of three Khuddam and not knowing much Conflict Resolution or Mediation skills. I looked to my left and I saw Naib Sadr Sahib going into his sleeping bag and was awake. I went to him and I asked, "Brother, can you help me out?" Before I finished my sentence, he was on his two feet waiting to hear what I had to say next. I told him the story and I brought him over to the upset Khuddam. Like I said, he was an angel. He went to them, calmed them down, told them everything will be allright, spoke with the accused Khadim and heard his story, told them both to go back to bed and that to pray that they find their cell phones. The commotion and the Khuddam dispersed. It was one of the most amazing moments I saw in my life, and an angel so close to Allah Tallah was able to do it. Naib Sadr Sahib, I miss you so much. Please keep MKA USA in your Light. Wassalam Safeer
