2010 September - Irfan Chaudhry

This month’s shining star features Irfan Chaudhry, a dedicated and dexterous member of MKA USA.  Irfan’s life uprooted with a profound impact at the age of eleven when Hazrat Khalifatul Masih 4th (RH) migrated over to England. Fortunately, by being born in England, Irfan was already granted the immense presence of the Khalifah but his blessings were amounted even more as he took part in many Jamaat events. Two of the events Irfan took part in were security duty during Hazur’s speeches and Waqar-i-amal. These were also his most memorable aspects of his Jamaat interaction in England.

Zeshan is 17 years old and currently attending high school. He was born in Houston but raised in a village near city of Sargodha, Pakistan. Zeshan is planning to attend the Jamia (Missionary College) in Canada after he gets done from high school. He is an amazing khadim in various ways. He has helped in various departments of MKA and MAA. For the past few years he has been assisting in a cleaning team during U.S.A Jalsa Salana.

Adil Agha Khan, Son of Dr. Aga Khan, a senior at Gilman High School in Baltimore, Maryland by the grace of Allah, is an active player as an 18 year old khadim of Baltimore Jam'aat, as a student and as a varsity cross country runner for his school. Being raised in a very close-knit Jamaat and all the Khudaam like his brothers he believes in making sacrifices for the benefit of others, for Ahmadiyyat, and for all of mankind.

When asked what they want to be when they grow up, many children respond by saying movie star, singer, video game player, or any other “profession” which occupies their mind at that time.  Many children do not think about their future at all at that time in their lives.  However, as a child, whenever anyone would ask Adeel Ahmed, currently the Naib Qaid of the Detroit Jama’at and a Waqf-e-Nau, what his plans were, he would firmly answer “Engineer”. One's secular commitments and religious responsibilities rarely coincide as uniquely and perfectly as they do in Muhammad Ahmad Chaudhry's daily life. Presently functioning as the Naib Sadr of Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya USA, Muhammed Ahmad is also the President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation. These seemingly distinct responsibilities, inhabiting separately the religious world and the secular world, are in fact two parts of the same whole for Muhammed Ahmad. The unification of the two is evident through his singular passion to serve in the way of humanity.
