A Message to Christians For Christmas

I just wanted to wish you and your family the best as you celebrate Christmas. As you know, we Muslims revere Jesus as a noble prophet of God and his mother as a chaste and exemplary lady. The Quran is explicit in absolving them from any of the accusations raised by their contemporaries and of raising the status of this prophet of God and his mother for Muslims to honor for all time.

This year, happily, Muslims also celebrated around the same time the Eid, which commemorates the greatness of Abraham, and concludes the pilgrimage to Mecca (the Hajj; see www.alislam.org).

Thus good wishes of peace to all during this festive time. And of course a happy New Year.
