Where is Jumma Prayers mentioned in the Holy Quran?
Jumma prayers is mentioned in Surah Al Jumma (chapter 62) verse 10.
[62:10] O ye who believe! When the call is made for Prayer on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and leave off all business. That is best for you, if you only knew.
Is it necessary to take Friday off in order to attend Jumma?
[62:11] And when the Prayer is finished, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's grace, and remember Allah much that you may prosper.
As mentioned in the Holy Quran, one should come to Jumma but they don’t have to take the day off as Jews do for Sabath and Chirstians on Sunday.
How many times Azan is called for Jumma?
Two time. First Azan is called right at the Zuhar time, and the second Azan is called when Imam arrives to deliver the Friday Sermon.
How many Khutbaat are there in Jumma?
Two. First one can be in Imam’s own language and the second is in Arabic according to the tradition of the Holy Prophet (saw).
How many Sunna Rakaat are offered in Jumma?
Four Sunna should be offered right after the first Azan and two rakaat after the Jumma prayers.
What if someone comes during the First Khutba, how many Sunna Rakaat should they offer?
One should try to come to the mosque before the First Azan. However if they join the Jumma prayers during the first Khutba they can offer two rakaat Sunnah.
What if someone join during the Jumma prayers?
If someone join during Jumma and misses a rakat they should make up their rakat after the Imam has said Salam.

According to Hazrat Masih Maud (as) two people can offer Jumma
Is Jumma obligatory during the Journey?
It is up to the individual. Hazrat Masih Maud (as) has done both. He offered Jumma at some occasion and said Zuhr instead on others.
If Jumma is being combined with Asr, should one say the four rakaat Sunnah before Jumma prayers?
Yes, they are not waived as normally the Sunna are waived when two Salaat are combined.
If Jumma and Eid come on the same day, is Jumma obligatory?
It is not obligatory. However, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (saw) has preffered to offer a short Jumma even on the Eid day.
If an Imam is leading the Jumma on Television or Radio and it is being broadcast LIVE, can we offer Jumma behind him?
No. Imam has to be physically present before the congregation he is leading.
