Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Al-Khamis (ayyadahullaho ta'ala benasrehil aziz) stated that Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rahmullahe) had urged that active “Dai’een Ilallah” should be selected. Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) said: “Numbers alone are nothing; rather the level of activity and effectiveness are essential. The names of those “Dai’een Ilallah” who have not made contact and have not done any work should be cut from the list.”

Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) inquired from the Mohtamim Tarbiyyat (Secretary Training) about the program that has been developed for tarbiyyat. Hazoor said program should be made for the education and training. Initiate moral training classes. Do a survey to find how out many Khuddam come to Friday prayers; how many Khuddam come to the mosque; how many Khuddam recite the Holy Quran on a daily basis. Hazoor mentioned that you should be aware of all these figures. Hazoor stated: “Offering prayers in congregation is vital and much attention should be drawn towards this. Further more, contact should be made with those who have accepted Ahmadiyyat in the last few years.” Hazoor inquired about Khuddamul Ahmadiyya’s magazine from the Mohtamid Publication. In Indonesia, Khuddamul Ahmadiyya regularly publishes a monthly magazine.

Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) asked for a report from the Mohtamim Tarbiyyat (Secretary Training) to ascertain how many Khuddam come to offer prayers and what is the number of Khuddam who attend Maghrib and Isha prayers. Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) mentioned that if Khuddam live far away from the Mosque then prayer centers should be created in those areas (where Khuddam live) so that they can join in congregational prayers.

Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) inquired whether arrangements are made for training classes; how many Khuddam offer prayers; how many Khuddam recite the Holy Qur’an every day? Hazoor stated that reports should be obtained from all Majalis of the country. Hazoor also instructed that all Khuddam should offer five daily prayers regularly and every effort should be made to offer prayers in congregation. Hazoor mentioned that if at some place there is no Mosque present and two or three Khuddam are there, they should offer prayers in congregation.

Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) inquired from the Mohtamim Tarbiyyat (Secretary Training) about how many Khuddam listen to the Friday sermon on MTA. Hazoor took a survey and instructed that a plan be made for those who do not listen to the Friday sermon. Hazoor then inquired about the number of Khuddam who can read the Holy Qur’an; those do not recite the Holy Qur’an regularly; what is the number of Khuddam who recite the Holy Qur’an 15 days in a month?
Hazoor stated that those who do not recite the Holy Qur’an regularly should at least be reciting the Holy Qur’an 15 days in a month. Once they start reciting the Holy Qur’an 15 days in a month then they will develop the habit of consistently reciting the Holy Qur’an. Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) inquired from the Mohtamim Tarbiyyat about the training program. He was told that two training classes are being organized this year and efforts are being made for Khuddam to join the system of Wasiyyat (Will). Hazoor evaluated progress made so far and instructed that a lot of work has to be done.
Hazoor surveyed the members of the National Majlis-e-Aamila of Khuddam regarding how many are offering prayers in congregation. Hazoor pointed out that if aamila member (himself) does not offer at least one prayer in congregation, how can he say any thing to anyone else? Hazoor also inquired about the numbers of aamila members who recite the Holy Qur’an daily. Hazoor instructed that the habit of daily recitation should be developed Hazoor instructed that Khuddam who are not in close contact with the Majlis should be try to brought closer through their friends (involvement).

Hazoor advised members of the Aamila that the Khuddam and husbands are also partially responsible for lack of Purdah in Lajna. They (Khuddam and husbands) feel embarrassed to take their wives in the public thinking that people will look at them strangely. Lots of young women allege that their husbands have told them to abandon purdah.
Hazoor mentioned that husbands are very strict with their wives in other matters, but why are not they strict on the issue of purdah? Instead of being strict on unnecessary issues, enforce those injunctions that have been mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. Purdah should not be of one kind in Mosque and another kind in shopping areas. Hazoor advised that if Khuddam correct themselves then training of Lajna will also be affected. Therefore, make this (observance of purdah) part of your training program.

Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) inquired from the Secretary Tarbiyyat (training) about content of the yearly training program. Hazoor asked about what efforts are being made for those who do not have close contact with the majlis and what training program has been made for them. What steps have been taken to contact them? Hazoor mentioned that it is one thing to make contact as an office holder and entirely another thing when contact is made as a brother and well-wisher. It is not necessary that missionary or Ameer or Secretary should go to makes contact with these individuals. Evaluate who can best be used to make contact with these individuals.
Hazoor (ayyadahullaho ta'ala) advised the Secretary Tarbiyyat that purdah is not responsibility of Lajna alone; it is the responsibility of men as well. Some women have lowered their standard of purdah since coming here (to Australia). They have started wearing clothes which are not appropriate. Hazoor stated that the blame lies with men. Men have granted (these women) complete freedom and have themselves become victim of a “complex.”
Hazoor mentioned that in such cases men have to be reminded of their obligation. Hazoor mentioned that he had observed during family audiences with him that many men feel embarrassed when they go to shops with women who observe purdah. Hazoor instructed that purdah should make progress not spiral downwards.

Hazoor said that human beings are naturally inclined towards covering nakedness. One’s clothing should be modest. Hazoor stated that it should be explained to women who have come from Pakistan wearing the “Burqa” that they should not abandon their purdah. Explain this to them with kindness and keep an eye on them.
Hazoor instructed that those (Khuddam) who do not come to the Mosque to offer prayers should be encouraged to come to the Mosque. Hazoor instructed that every sixth sermon should be about moral training and every fourth sermon should be about the financial sacrifices and the divine Worship.
