Objectives of This Series: We believe that Halloween is not an Islamic festival and could harm the Ahmadi Muslim identity. However, we also understand that such religious/cultural issues are sensitive and difficult to deal with. One of the ways to develop a better understanding towards such issues is by educating ourselves, sharing ideas, success stories and discussing the challenges. This is the objective of the series. Ultimately, what to do on Halloween remains a family decision for the parents and children to make. We hope that you will all join in and together we will develop a stronger identity for our future Ahmadi Muslims here in America. |
