The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA urges calm after a shooting in an Orlando nightclub left at least 20 dead and 42 injured. Reports state that the shooter has died following a shootout with SWAT officers. The FBI is looking into whether this was an act of international or domestic terrorism. The shooter has been identified as Omar Mateen. “This is really tragic and sad,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, “Reverence for all human life is the essence of Islamic teaching. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad says new Mosque will be a beacon of peace     The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is pleased to announce that on 20 February 2016, theWorld Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad inaugurated the Baitul Ikram Mosque (The House of Honour) in Leicester, England.   Upon arrival, His Holiness officially inaugurated the Mosque by unveiling a commemorative plaque and offering a silent prayer in thanks to God Almighty. His Holiness then led theMaghreb and Isha prayers at the new Mosque, before meeting local Ahmadi Muslims.   Later, a special reception, attended by more than 80 dignitaries and guests, was held to mark the opening of the Mosque.   Ijtema Report for Republic of Marshall Islands December 11 – 12, 2015 Report prepared by Imam Feroz Ahmad Hundal   Alhamdolillah, with the grace of Allah the Almighty, Jama’at Ahmadiyya Marshall Islands was able to hold its 2nd Annual Local Ijtema from December 11 – 12, 2015! The Ijtema began with the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Baet-ul-Ahad Mosque. After the prayers, opening session was presided by Imam Matiullah Joyia. He was joined at the head table with Qaid Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Joland Kaios, Sadr Sahib Marshall Islands, Sam Nena, and Imam Feroz Ahmad Hundal! The opening session began around 7:30PM with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Joland Kaios. Followed by the Pledge of Khuddam by Imam Feroz Ahmad Hundal. Pitch It: Business Plan Competition   Medical Billing Services is the winner of our Pitch It Business Plan Competition. Based in Chicago, the company currently provides billing services to physician practices in the Midwest and Gulf Coast regions. Medical Billing Services is lead by Annas Ahmed and he was assisted by Kamran Khan in this competition. Kamran Khan is also serving as the Qaid Chicago Southwest. It was a challenging decision for the interviewing committee to select a winner after multiple rounds of interviews. This was due to some very good submissions from a wide variety of companies from sectors including social media, healthcare and fitness, 3D printing, telecommunications infrastructure, restaurants, and services industry. The competition was held to encourage entrepreneurship and invest our Khuddam owned businesses. It was launched in light of instructions of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (May Allah strengthen his hand).
