Writings of Hazrat Promised Messiah (as)

Continuing our series of weekly extracts of writings from Hazrat Masih-e-Maud (as) from “Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam“:

The third insight concerning the hereafter is that there will be unlimited progress therein, as God Almighty has said regarding those who believe, “Their light will run before them and on their right hands. They will say, ‘Our Lord, perfect our light for us and forgive us; surely Thou hast power over all things.’” (66:9)  Their supplication that their light may be perfected is an indication of limitless progress.

According to Islamic teachings, heaven and hell are the reflections of the actions that a person carries out in this world.

The true purpose of man’s life is the worship of God, His understanding and complete devotion to Him.

Islam is inherent in man’s nature and man has been created in accord with Islam.

That is why, despite occupying himself with diverse projects in this life, man does not find his true welfare except in God.

The highest reach of man’s faculties is to meet God, the Exalted.
