Congratulations on accepting the MKA Health Challenge!
I’m sure many of you are having cravings are doubting if you can really pull this off?
Remember, this is an exercise in awareness. If an entire month seems too much of a commitment, that’s okay and normal. Let’s focus on the first week! With prayers, support, and a focus on achieving a healthy lifestyle, Inshallah we can do this!

Posted at 12:44h, 14 JanuaryJazakAllah MKA to keeping us FIT. After this next challenge MKA should introduce Healthy, Clean and less greasy (oily) food in the mosques. This can be implemented with the help of Holy Quran verses about cleanness, healthy life style and good food.

Posted at 14:29h, 17 JanuaryI signed up for all five pledges and really didn’t expect much of a change since I am not particularly overweight. I have come to see that cutting out the simple starches has helped a lot more then I thought. I have lost about 5 pounds and become a lot leaner and feel a lot better.

Posted at 13:29h, 01 FebruaryAA,
This was a really good initiative, I was struggling to keep a check on my food (especially junk) so this helped me get back inline. I feel better, more healthy and will continue to follow this routine. MKA Stay Healthy!
JazakAllah for this challenge and helping us feel and live a healthy life.

Posted at 13:39h, 01 FebruaryCutting back on packaged snacks and replacing it with nuts and fruit options has helped my energy levels stay high for longer periods of time. The biggest gains for me happened a few years ago when I cut Soda and all drinks with High Fructose Corn Syrup (Gatorade, etc…)
A Healthy Mind, Body, Soul = clarity of thought/prayers
