10 Jul Pearls of Wisdom – Month of Ramadan
Following Hadith taken from “Gardens of the Righteous” :
The Holy Prophet (saws) said:
When a servant of Allah observes a fast for a day for the sake of Allah, He thereby repels the fire from him a distance of seventy years of journeying
-Bokhari and Muslim
The Holy Prophet (saws) was the most generous of men and he was at his most bountiful during Ramadan when Gabriel visited him every night and recited the Quran to him. During this period the bounty of the Holy Prophet (saws) waxed faster than the rain-bearing breeze (Bokhari and Muslim)
